Lead Shot – Pink Floyd – Back Catalogue
I ’m honestly not even a Pink Floyd buff , but for some reason this is the first image that come to creative thinker for this challenge . It became a weekend household labor as well . The two tyke brushed the Barbies ’ hair and helped title them . They also help paint the ceiling and spray paint the back wall ( we used a sprayer paint with some texture so it was n’t just a white wall ) and the pillar ( which are two wooden rods ) . My beau constructed all of the “ construction ” and assist the girls with their tasks . The pool is a moldable tub and the walls , ceiling and electron beam are all foam - magnetic core . The window chicken feed is vellum painted orange / yellow and then we got a canvas of tile at Home Depot and the miss grout it with Amandine Aurore Lucie Dupin from their sandbox ( BF ’s idea ) . I hand paint two of the bodies to the full ( I think you’re able to tell which , haha ) and the others I painted the infrastructure coating color , then size and edit out the other album encompass motion picture in photoshop then print them off and glued them to the backs . We had to add two Barbies to the ingathering since we did n’t have a red head or another brunette and we befall to find TWO perfect ones at the entrepot . All the Barbie ’s scram their haircut as well due to the fact their pilus is too darn poofy for the spatial arrangement needed in the shot . Some of the lighting was a little severely then I think it was going to be so if I had about 5 more hours in the sidereal day I would have loved to hone that . Canon 7D , ISO 100,0″3 , 28 - 135 mm , f/4.5 .

The Surgeon’s Photograph
Long time viewer , first clock time shooter . I ’ve always enjoy and been impressed with the entry and thought I ’d throw off my ring in the lid for this challenge . My wife and I have a small koi pond in our back yard . A picayune composition board , scissors , a sharpie and some tin foil allowed us to impound our little Nessie to our leaf net . zigzag the ISO for max noise and B&W was our best attempt to replicate that iconic photo ( hoax ) be intimate as “ The Surgeon ’s picture ” ( C ) 1934 . Nikon D90 , Manual Mode , Nikkor 50 mm 1.8D @F22 , 1/200 , ISO : HI 1.0 ( 6400 ? Lots ‘ o noise ! ) , Monochrome setting ( B&W ) , PS CS4 to increase contrast , straighten and crop

Born In the USA
The original composition I steal from was the “ Born in the U.S.A. ” album cover ( shoot by Annie Leibovitz ) . The American flag was clamped to a fence . Since my remote for the camera was dead , I had to get creative with focalise the crystalline lens . The trash can in the backyard was placed approximately 2 groundwork in front of the fencing . Then I focus on the Methedrine can . Then I absent the tripe can from the scene and supplant it with Ralph ’s chew toy . A little golosh ring to be specific . The doughnut was my standing marker . After pressing the shutter , a 10 second timer would give me just enough meter to get into position . canyon EOS 7D , 1/250 @ f5.0 , 50 mm , ISO 200 , EF 50 mm f/1.8 II , onboard flash , Speedlite 580EX II , Speedlite 430EX

Stolen from Alfred Hitchcock ’s psychotic person The guess was take in our diminutive bathroom using a ikea lamp whilst trying not fry myself ( water and electricity do not mix ! ) My lens was a nightmare steaming up due to my lady friend refusing to shoot this in a inhuman exhibitioner so more than a few shots were charter before this concluding one , I had to keep reminding her not to take care so well-chosen about been attack , foreign young lady ! WINNER – Alfred Hitchblock
integrate with :
I tried to steal Alfred Hitchcock profile motion picture and at the same time the proficiency from Kumi Yamashita , Building Blocks using birds to fit with Hitchcock theme . I start by doing some canonical origami birds ( I stopped at forty ) . Then , I installed my headlight on the table as a light generator and placed shuttlecock until it looks somewhat like I wanted . I thought it would be simple but each bird I placed move the others , so I decided to fix some with gum and do adjustments to others with a toothpick . The shot was made with a Canon EOS 5D , handheld at f/2.5 , 1/100 , ISO1250 . The only military post processing done was cropping plus conversion to B&W.

This was my raw personal favorite challenge to date , not just because of the creativeness and proficiency , but because participants really put themselves out there in an artistically vulnerable way . Thanks everyone . Be trusted to check out the heading — many splendid entries look you there . And full size guess are alwayson flickr .
