Canon only give up itsG5digital camera three month ago , and already the rumors are flying that a G6 is in the works . These are unconfirmed , but supposedly the G6 will come out in mid - November , be 20 % smaller than the G5 , have a 5x optical zoom lens , and a resolution of 6.5 megapixels . So you might want to hold back a duet of months if you were thinking of buying a G5 .
