I think it ’s safe to say this was likely the respectable instalment of the serial publication ’ to day of the month , wrapping up Lilia ’s arc in a far more satisfying mode than Alice ’s . We really did n’t eff too much about Madame Calderu before this episode , but we definitely get a handgrip on her before the end .
Though it gave Lilia a reason to nobly sacrifice herself and sum up to the overall body count , I mat up like this was a fairly ignominious outlet for the Salem Seven , who in the end did n’t amount to much — especially considering they ’re set to be replaced by Death as the serial publication ’ main antagonist going frontward . I hazard their blood feud against Agatha for killing their parents and causing them to raise themselves as family unit of semi - feral shapeshifters must end here .
Hopefully , Death ’s reasons for hating Agatha and getting ask with the coven are revealed to be half as interesting . ( Still , I only counted five body among them , so maybe she ’ll keep a duo Salem henchman and we ’ll get to seem them do something besides skulk about eerily , after all ? That would also give both BTW and Jennifer someone to fight in the close . )

Speaking of , Rio ’s absence and subsequent reveal … kindasucked ? Rio ’s been MIA for two full sequence now , so to have her true identity revealed in the character ’s own extend absence is a puzzling selection . particularly since this very show is entitle after the memorable villain reveal of its parent series , WandaVision . The concluding two episode will really have to put a tidy sum of employment in to justify almost everything about Rio ’s inclusion so far — not to name why the elemental end chose to lay as a woman appoint Rio Vidal in the first place .
