According to a February 2020 interview withThe Spokesman-Review, Sydney said that the family spent much of her childhood in the South Hill neighborhood and at their lake house.

Trent had a few minor acting gigs when he was a kid, but he ultimately decided to pursue a different career path.
In April 2020,Sydney posted a carousel of throwback photosas a tribute to Trent, who was leaving for military training at the time.
