Who these may be , you postulate ? Who ? Yes , you guessed it : politician asking for money would still be able to do it . And their champion the bank too . And charities and churches . And , let ’s not forget , those ply with the whole infrastructure to keep bugging you with stupid automatedmarketing call : The endearing telephone company .
What makes the whole affair ironical are FTC ’s Chairman Jon Leibowitz language after the ban was approved :
start September 1 , this bombardment of prerecorded pitch , senseless solicitations , and malicious marketing will be illegal . If consumer think they ’re being chivy by robocallers , they need to let us lie with , and we will go after them .
