On March 9th , A&E will premiere The Returned , their entry in the increasingly popular “ people turn back from the dead geezerhood later in a small townsfolk ” writing style . Quick doubt : Does this look a mass like the original Gallic show it ’s free-base on , or is it just me ?

gravely , though , the bus topology , the lavatory scene , the embryonic membrane … it ’s all very much taken from the original series . Which is n’t a bad matter , necessarily . Les Revenants is unquestionably the best version of this show we ’ve had so far , so they ca n’t go too wrong trying to seize the same feel . But executive manufacturer Carlton Cuse has said a set that they ’re going to diverge from the other show a fair bit . This does not back up that assertion .
