Few would reason that Edgar Wright is one of the most exciting filmmakers out in the world today . He ’s made only four features , but each is infused with a uniquely tangible style and energy . Now , we ’ll get to see what that looks like in aliveness .
Wright will channelise and co - publish an inspire film for DreamWorks about vestige . His co - author ? None other than comedian and author David Walliams , well know for the show Little Britain .
“ My first endeavor in filmmaking as a teenager were in invigoration , so it was hugely challenging to get a call from DreamWorks Animation about potentially direct , ” pronounce Wright in a press discharge . “ When the Shadows conception was suggested to me , I could see the poster , the claim sequence and pretty much the whole film . It ’s a blast write this and to have one of my oldest friends in comedy , David Walliams , along for the escapade is a rush . ”
DreamWorks had been working on a moving picture called Me and My Shadow several years ago , and while the estimation of shadows remains , the undertaking themselves are unrelated .

While this news is , manifestly , fabulously exciting , do n’t start lining up for tickets just yet . Wright is about to start production on his medicine - driven heist movie , Baby Driver , which will be released March 17 , 2017 . That ’ll take up a huge clump of time . And while brio is the rarefied average film producer can work on while doing other thing , these project also take a unbelievably tenacious time . I ’d envisage this film wo n’t be out until the remainder of the decade , if then . But it should be deserving the time lag .
