Hands-On Samsung’s F480 Prada Phone Knockoff (Verdict: I’ll Pass)

Samsung’sF700andF300are joined by theF480 , a passably clean knockoff of the LG Prada ( down to the fake leather case ) . I detect its touchscreen implementation rocky , even if it ’s meliorate from Samsung ’s previous handsets . Overall , I ’ll pass , particularly at the proposed European Leontyne Price of 350 to 400 Euros ( ~$500 to $ 580 USD . )

The phone has a slenderly pocket-size 2.8 screen door at 240 x 320 , it has quad band , 3 gram ( but not the US flavors ) , haptic feedback on the touchscreen and a 5MP camera . It also has a limited set of thingmajig for the front page , include a birthday admonisher , world times and that ’s pretty much it . ( It ’s not exposed informant , so you ca n’t bring to it , or write your own , either . ) The phone ’s touchscreen support swipes through menus , but in the polar fashion you ’re used to on the iPhone . ( Swiping down moves the cursor down , not up , as you could see in the video . )
