The Bleachers frontman, 39, appeared on as a guest and performer onThe Tonight ShowStarringJimmy Fallonon Wednesday and spoke to the talk show host about gettingmarried to the actress, 29, back in August.

“I perform, so I’m not one of these people … I don’t care, I can do anything, I don’t mind being here, I don’t mind being on stage — It doesn’t faze me too much,” he continued. “And then as soon as I walked up there, it was the ultimate — it was the most alone I’ve ever been in my life, in a way, because my bride hadn’t come out yet.”

Once Antonoff saw theMaidstar, all anxieties fell away. The musician shared, “It was beautiful and it was every cliché, and I kind of melted and broke in a very sweet way.”

The couple began dating in summer 2021 and became engaged in May 2022.
The newlyweds appeared to be in a blissful honeymoon phase when they werephotographed for the first timeafter the wedding on a stroll in New York City in late August.

2023 continues to be a big year for Antonoff. Not only did he get married and win producer of the year at theGrammy Awardsin February, he’s gearing up to release new music with his band Bleachers.
In September, the indie rock group released “Modern Girl,” the first single off their forthcoming fourth studio album.
