ICYMI:Kanye Westgraced the world with apoem he penned about McDonald’sand all of its menu offerings — most notably, French fries, apple pie, cheeseburgers and the elusive McRib — for Frank Ocean‘s magazineBoys Don’t Cry, which was released in conjunction with his new album,Blonde.

“The cheeseburger and the shakes formed a band / To overthrow the french fries plan / I always knew them french fries was evil, man / Smelling all good and s— / I don’t trust no food that smells that good man / I don’t trust it / I just can’t,” West wrote.

The poem continues: “Even the McRib was jealous of the fries / I could see it through his artificial meat eyes.”

McDonald’s, in response, is playing along — while adding addressingWest’s “artificial meat” line.

“We’re lovin’ the love for McDonald’s World Famous Fries and Apple Pies,” Terri Hickey, a spokesperson for McDonald’stells TIME. “Like the beef in our burgers our love for our fans’ creativity is 100 percent.”

No word if West has future plans to wax poetic about other eateries (maybeKardashian-favorite In-N-Outis next?), but one thing’s for sure: the rapper has reached peak success, and we (and McDonald’s) couldn’t be more proud.
