Nick Viallis sharing how he stays healthy during cold and flu season.
“Eating right, staying active, that’s really all you can do,” theBacheloralum, 43, tells PEOPLE. “Sometimes when it’s cold and flu season it doesn’t really matter what your lifestyle is,” says Viall, who has partnered with Mucinex.
Viall’s advice comes amidst a rising number of cold and flu cases in the country. The Centers for Disease Control and Preventionestimates 18 to 35 millionpeople have gotten sick fromthe flusince October 2023.

“I am certainly someone who knows what it’s like to be busy with a kid on the way and a show to run,” the Mucinex ambassador says. “So when I wake up not feeling my best it’s never fun.”

He continued: “If you’re on the move and you’re traveling and you’re in places where there’s a lot of folks, [it’s] always good to [use] hand sanitizer — that helps you with not just things like Covid and the flu but the regular cold virus and whatever other things might be circulating out here. And obviously, wash your hands.”
