Abbott Elementaryscored big with this year with eight total nominations!
Janelle Jamesreceived a nomination for outstanding supporting actress for her performance as Principal Ava Colman. She is expressing solidarity with the Writer’s Guild America and SAG-AFTRA while accepting the honor.
Taraji P. Henson, nominated for outstanding guest actress in a comedy series, described her experience working onAbbott Elementaryas “simple” and “pure joy” in a statement.

Andorblasted through eight nominations!
Diego Luna, who took on the titular role of Cassian Andor and was an executive producer, shared a statement on behalf Andor and its multiple nods.

Tony Gilroy, the series' head writer, executive producer and show runner, claimed he was “thrilled” to be honored at this year’s Emmys.
“It’s been two months since I’ve cracked open this laptop so forgive me if I drift into cliché, but 8 nominations? I’m thrilled,” he said. “Obviously, some big thanks are in order – first of all to the voters and audience who picked up on our show and have made the past 10 months the most affirming I can remember.

In a statement shared,Bob Odenkirkexpressed his gratitude for his nomination for outstanding lead actor in a drama series for the final season ofBetter Call Saul.
“I’m thrilled and honored the role of Jimmy/Saul was the role of a lifetime and all I could do was try to make the most of it every single day,” he gushed. “I’d have to say I feel this is an appreciation of the whole cast and crew as well because everyone around me made me better in this role.”

Successionovertook the competition with the most nods this year: 27 total!
Alan Ruckcelebrated his first-ever nomination for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series for his performance as Connor Roy. In a statement, he revealed that his Emmy nom made his time on the HBO show “all the more gratifying.”
“Thank you to the Television Academy for sending us off in such style,” Ruck wrote. “I’ve said this many times, but I waited for a show like Succession to come along for my entire career, so to receive my first Emmy nomination for this particular project makes this all the more gratifying.”

Brett Goldstein, who was nominated for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series, called the honor “nuts” and admitted he was “moved as f—.”

HBO’sThe Last of Usreceived a whopping 24 nominations for this year’s Emmy Awards!
Bella Ramseyscored their first Emmy nomination for outstanding lead actress in a drama series. Among the slew of cast and crew they thanked in their statement to PEOPLE, they added a special nod to their “best sidekick ever"Pedro Pascal.
“I’m so happy for the entire team and immensely proud of this show and everyone involved,” they gushed. “I’m especially proud of my friend Keivonn Woodard (his first job and first nomination), my brain soul mate Craig Mazin, and my rock and the best sidekick ever… Pedro Pascal. It was the best year of my life shootingThe Last of Usso to be given this recognition alongside other phenomenal performers makes my little heart feel very big, thank you.”
As for Pascal, the actor shared his own sentiments after receiving a nomination for outstanding lead actor in a drama series as well as another nod for outstanding guest actor in a comedy series for his hosting stint onSaturday Night Live.
“Being a host onSaturday Night Livewas a childhood dream I didn’t think would ever come true. My week on SNL was one of the best of my life, but none of it would have been possible without the incredible work of the writers, cast, and crew, that make the show possible every week. Nick Offerman, nominated for outstanding guest actor in a drama series, thanked the network and his cast members in a statement. “I am powerfully grateful to be in this wagon of HBO artists celebrating inclusivity, DIY, fidelity and strawberries,” he said.
Alongside Offerman,Storm Reidcelebrated her first nomination for outstanding guest actress in a drama series and thanked the cast and crew for “believing in my talent.”
Murray Bartlettalso shared that he was “over the moon” with his nomination for outstanding guest actor in a drama series.

The White Lotus
The White Lotusreceived their fair share of Emmy nods (read: 23!) this year.
Will Sharpe, who was nominated for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series, called the honor “bananas” while celebrating his first Emmy nod.

In addition to the cast’s performance awards,Weird: The Al Yankovic Storywas nominated for outstanding television movie, outstanding original music and lyrics, outstanding writing for a limited or anthology series or movie.
Weird Al Yankovichimself reflected on the success of his biopic series in a statement: “Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d be able to say, ‘Hey, Daniel Radcliffe just got an Emmy nomination for playing me in a movie!'” he joked before extending his gratitude. “But here we are.
