Taylor Swifthas a very famous poet in her bloodline.

According toTODAY, genealogy company Ancestry has discovered that the “Karma” singer, 34, is related to Emily Dickinson and the pair are sixth cousins, three times removed.

“Swift and Dickinson both descend from a 17th century English immigrant (Swift’s 9th great-grandfather and Dickinson’s 6th great-grandfather who was an early settler of Windsor, Connecticut),” Ancestry shared with TODAY on Monday.

“Taylor Swift’s ancestors remained in Connecticut for six generations until her part of the family eventually settled in northwestern Pennsylvania, where they married into the Swift family line.”

Swift’s upcoming album, which is calledThe Tortured Poets Department, is set to be released on April 19.

Along with being released on Dec 10. 2020 — the same day as Dickinson’s birthday — the record’s title also references the last word of Dickinson’s poem “One Sister have I in Our House.”

The last line reads, “From out the wide night’s numbers — Sue forevermore!”

Since then, the pop superstar has announced several versions of her new album, with the musician revealingthe fourth and final versionat herEras Tourshow inSingaporeon Sunday. The bonus track for the final edition is titled “The Black Dog.”
